The St. Luke Community is here to accompany you in your time of grief.  Whether your loss was yesterday or years past, whether you are a parent, wife, husband, brother, sister, child or friend, your grief is an emotion that is real and unique. We are here to share your burden. Let us walk with you on this challenging journey.

La comunidad de San Lucas está aquí para acompañarle en su momento de dolor. Ya sea que su pérdida haya sido ayer o años atrás, ya sea un padre, una esposa, un esposo, un hermano, una hermana, un hijo o un amigo, su dolor es una emoción real y única. Estamos aquí para compartir su carga. Permítanos acompañarle en este desafiante viaje. Nos reunimos mensualmente el primer miércoles de cada mes en la Capilla de Guadalupe a las 6:30 p.m.

Book Club

Join us the last Monday of every month (except December), at 7 p.m. to discuss books.  This club is for those who enjoy a good read; it's not a formal study.  

Our book selection for meeting on April 29, 2024 is Galileo's Daughter by Dava Sobel

Te invitamos a que formes parte de este Ministerio, a que tengas un encuentro personal con Jesús en uno de nuestros retiros y a ser miembro de una de nuestras comunidades continuando tu formación y crecimiento Cristiano edificándonos mutuamente y compartiendo lo que somos y lo que tenemos, utilizando los diferentes dones y talentos que el Espíritu Santo nos ha regalado. Solamente de esta manera seremos testigos de Jesús resucitado, individualmente y como comunidad, para la edificación total del Cuerpo de Cristo y la salvación de mundo.  Este es un ministerio en español.

Kitchen Team

This dedicated team of volunteers meets every Monday morning after Mass to prepare meals for Migrants stranded in our city. Meals are delivered to Sacred Heart Church.

Knights of Columbus

The Knights of Columbus Council #12160 meets on the 2nd Thursday of every month at 6:00 pm in the Parish Hall.

St. Vincent de Paul Society/Sociedad de San Vicente de Paul

We are here to provide emergency assistance to brothers and sisters in need. If you live in the St. Luke Parish area and are in temporary financial straits, we may be able to help.  We can help pay bills:  Electricity, Water, Gas, Rent, Emergency Prescriptions

Estamos aquí para proporcionar asistencia de emergencia a los hermanos y hermanas necesitados.  Si usted vive en la Parroquia de San Lucas y se encuentra en dificultades financieras temporales, es posible que podamos ayudarlo.  Podemos ayudar a pagar las facturas de:  Electricidad, Agua, Gas, Renta, Medicamentos de emergencia

The St. Luke Conference of the St. Vincent de Paul Society is operated completely through the generosity of volunteer ministers.

Parish Council

The Parish Council consists of ministry leaders and other parishioners who plan parish-wide events and activities within the community.  Meetings are at 6:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall on the third Thursday of even months (February, April, June, August, and October). Some events organized by the Parish Council include the Annual Mardi Gras Casino Night Fund Raiser, annual Trick O' Treat Festival, and Advent Posadas.   

El Consejo Parroquial está formado por los líderes de los ministerios y otros feligreses que planifican los eventos y actividades de toda la parroquia dentro de la comunidad. Las reuniones son a las 6:30 p.m. en el Salón Parroquial el tercer jueves de los meses pares (febrero, abril, junio, agosto y octubre). Algunos eventos organizados por el Consejo Parroquial incluyen la recaudación de fondos de la Noche de Casino de Mardi Gras, el Festival anual de Trick O' Treat y las Posadas de Adviento. 

Vigilate Mecum - Young Adult Ministry

Vigilate Mecum (vigil-latte may-coom) is an opportunity to grow in faith and fellowship with young Catholic men and women in our area. Discussing issues of faith ... VM is an opportunity for us to follow Jesus' call to "Vigilate Mecum," or "Keep Watch with Me". This ministry serves those between the ages of 18 and 40.
