Religious Formation for Adults

At St. Luke we offer classes for adults to prepare to receive sacraments, to prepare to be sponsors, and to further their spiritual formation.

Baptism Preparation Classes for Parents and Godparents

Baptism preparation classes (via Zoom) will be on the first Saturday of the month in English and in Spanish, from 10 a.m. until noon.  Please complete the registration form.  Cost is $10/person.

Las clases de preparación para el bautismo (vía Zoom) serán el primer sábado del mes en inglés y en español, desde las 10 de la mañana hasta el mediodía. Por favor, complete el formulario de inscripción.  El costo es de $10/persona. 

Marriage Preparation

Marriage Preparation is done on a couple by couple basis.  At least one of the couple must be a parishioner or St. Luke or live within the St. Luke parish boundaries. To sign up for Marriage Preparation,  please complete the online application:  Marriage Preparation Application

$75 refundable deposit required.   Fee for preparation and for wedding at St. Luke is $350. 

If you plan to be married elsewhere, the total fee for Marriage Preparation only is $75. Other fees may apply.

Order of Christian Initiation for Adults - OCIA (formerly known as RCIA)

REGISTRATIONS FOR 2026/2027 OCIA (FORMERLY RCIA) CLASSES is now closed.
 This program is for adults wishing to enter the Catholic Church, as well as baptized Catholics who need to complete their first Holy Communion and Confirmation. Classes began February 22, 2026, and will end in May, 2027. A copy of your birth certificate or baptism certificate is required.  The next class will begin in February 2027

If you are married, you must be married in the Catholic Church to enroll in this program.

Adult Confirmation

Registration for Fall 2026 class is now open. Click here to register.

All adults who are interested in receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation can register for classes beginning in July 26, 2026. 


The Kick-off Retreat will be on January 24, 2026. After that classes meet on Sundays, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (includes attending 11 a.m. Mass), and will run through the end of May, 2026.  Cost is $50/person.


Copies of Baptism and First Communion certificates will be required. If you are married, we will need proof of a Catholic marriage.  If you are married, you must be married in the Catholic Church to enroll in this program. 


Sponsor will need to present proof of Baptism, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation.  If married, they will also have to present proof of Catholic marriage.

We have various groups doing Bible Study and discussion. Please call the parish office for information on the days and times the groups meet.
